This game reminds me of Zombies Ate My Neighbor game which is one of the Top 20 Classic Retro Games That You Need to Try.

League Mode

In league mode, however, you are playing against both zombies and other group of soldiers in multiplayer mode. The goal is to make sure that you survive and try to eliminate the competition.

Car Mode

Car mode puts you into a mission to collect gas to fill up your truck to eventually escape the zombie epicenter.

PLAYPLAYFUN’S IMPRESSION ON MONDAY NIGHT MONSTERS:

Monday Night Monsters is essentially a futuristic and simplified American Football game with a few modified rules.



If you are not very familiar with how American Football game, don’t worry, this game does not need you to understand the detail of American Football rules. Your task is basically to throw the ball to the mouth of the opposition’s big monster at the end zone to win the round. In order to do this, you will need to run with the ball while having your teammate blocks your opponents from tackling you, which will cause you to fumble the ball. Tap on Spacebar to pause the game and issue orders to your teammate. Blocks enemies and anticipate their movements. Protect the ball handler at all times.



Keep in mind, you will also be required to defend when the enemies manage to steal the ball from you!



As complex as it sounds, the control of this game is very intuitive and there are plenty of explanation on how to control your players. Each successful goal will lead you into a more difficult challenge. You start with 3 vs 3, then if you win, you’ll play 4 vs 4, and so on. The more players, the less room to manouvre and therefore, an increase in difficulty.



Overall, Monday Night Monsters quickly becomes one of my favourite games. It’s totally a blast to play with. In a way, this game reminds me of an old-school game Jerry Glanville’s Pigskin Footbrawl.
